I am losing weight/getting healthy because…
- I am sick of being in denial
- I don’t want to be self conscious because of my weight
- I want to prove I can do it
- I’m sick of eating 2 mcdoubles and a large fry and feeling like I am going to have a heart attack
- I want to be proud of something that I’ve done and not feel like a failure anymore
- I want to have more options as far as clothing
- I want my dad and I to have something to bond over
- I want to feel sexy
- I want to wear heels and not feel like Miss Piggy
- I want to KNOW that Kyle is attracted to me, instead of just taking his word for it
- I want to apply to be a Suicide Girl. I know there are “bigger” SGs but I won’t feel comfortable unless I am a bit more in shape
- I want to feel healthy
- I want to wear a pencil skirt and not have my oh-so-obvious love handles in the way
- I want to be able to walk up some stairs or walk around the mall without my breathing getting faster
- I want to be as flexible and as strong as I was when I was a cheerleader (I still take pride in being one, if not THE, most flexible and strongest girl on the team)
- I’ve realized that I don’t have to live the rest of my life as the fat girl. That is no longer my destiny
- I want “before and after” pictures
- I want to feel like a princess for my wedding
- I want so many more tattoos, but I don’t want to feel self conscious while getting them because of my weight
- I want to feel comfortable and not self conscious while buying a wedding dress
- I want to wear a tight pair of jeans and feel sexy
